God’s Throne in Heaven
Revelation 4:1-11 is about God’s throne in heaven. In verse 1, Jesus calls John’s spirit up to heaven to show him what heaven looks like and what will happen, in heaven and on earth, in the future. John describes and records seeing the Father sitting on His throne and a rainbow encircled the throne. Twenty-four elders were seated around the throne. Lightning, thunder and voices came from the throne. Seven lamps of fire blazed before the throne. A sea of crystal glass was before the throne. Four beasts of worship and praise were. around the throne. They praise God endlessly, saying: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.” When those beasts praise and thank the eternal Father sitting on His throne, the twenty-four elders fall on their faces and worship the eternal Father who sits on the throne.
In Revelation Chapter 4, the Apostle John spiritually went to heaven, came back and lived to tell the story. What awesome insight into the throne room of God is this chapter? John’s testimony of what he saw gives us a greater understanding of the Father, and it inspires us to be more faithful.

When I was giving out gospel tracts one day, I gave one to a young man. We were discussing the bible. Then, he had reintroduced me to the Flat Earth. I did not believe the theory at that time. I had believed in the Heliocentric Globe Earth model because I was told, “This is what the solar system and the universe looks like and here are the [fake] pictures and videos to prove it.” This lie is effective because no one can go to space and verify this fact, firsthand. However, I am always studying and meditating on the Bible and some things did not make any sense. When I began filtering biblical concepts through the”Flat Earth” worldview, the biblical concepts became perfectly clear. The Bible, as well as Math and Science support the Flat Earth worldview.

In Revelation Chapter 4 (Rev. 4:6), I had offered an explanation on the “Sea of glass that looks like crystal.” Can you comment on what your pastor or what your church teaches concerning this topic? I am trying to find as much information about this subject to support or refute the theory, which was mentioned in the lesson.
