The First Four Trumpet Plagues
Revelation 8:1-13 is about the first four of Seven Trumpet Judgment Plagues that God pours out on the Earth, which are one-third the strength. The Plagues are God’s response to the Trinity Beast tribulating the Saints. The Plagues are also judgments for the egregious sins of man. They begin when Jesus opens the seventh seal from the scroll, which continues from Chapter 6. The judgment plagues are similar to the ones poured out on the land of Egypt when Pharaoh enslaved the children of Israel. They include: severe hail storms, the trees and grass being destroyed, waters turning to blood, marine creatures dying, and darkness but only one-third effective. The chapter ends with an eagle proclaiming that the people of the world are in trouble because the remaining three plagues will fall on them.
The Purpose
The Book of Revelation was written to seasoned Christians, who have an intimate relationship with King Jesus and who know His Word. The Revelation of King Jesus is the ultimate Bible book that completes everything we need to know about Christ so that our relationship can grow to the highest heights. This is why we study the fundamental books of the Bible, so that we can understand the revealed prophecies of King Jesus.

The great star from heaven, burning like a lamp, that fell on a third of the rivers and the fountains of waters, in Revelation 8:10-11, is the Bitterness Angel. Bitterness will be on assignment from God to contaminate only one-third of the drinking water because the world, at that time, will be increasingly evil.
The star that falls from heaven to the Earth who was given the key to the bottomless pit, in Revelation 9:1-2 and 11, is the angel in charge of the Bottomless Pit. He is also the king over the locusts and his name is Abaddon the Destroyer. Abaddon’s assignment from God, at the fifth Trumpet Plague, is to inflict the unsaved world that has the mark of the Beast, with his spiritual army for five months.
