In God’s Time

If God is all powerful, why doesn’t He bring peace on earth today? Well, The Lord God is not trying to establish instant peace on earth today. God’s timetable is not your timetable because a thousand years of man’s life is like one day with God (2 Peter 3:8-9).  who is so patient. He can instantly perform the feat but one thing you must understand concerning the Lord is that instant anything is not what He is about. In fact, a good understanding of God through His Word, an intimate relationship with Him, and obedience, says that He wants certain things to play-out before He brings peace on earth.

Similarly, a while ago I used to think, “Why does God let so much evil prevail?” The truth of the matter is that things will get a lot worse before they get better. God wants to let evil, sin, and disobedience run their course to prove and testify that they eventually lead to ultimate destruction. Sin fully grown up leads to death (James 1:15)  and destruction.

The Sabbath Weekly Cycle

The God of order took six days to re-create the heavens and the earth. He had set aside the seventh or Sabbath (Exodus 20:11) day to be holy for rest (Genesis 2:2-3). . God told the Israelites to gather manna for six days. But on the seventh day the Israelites were to rest from their labors. Even the land should observe the Sabbath year of rest holy to the Lord. They were to work the land by sowing and reaping for six years. On the seventh year, they were not to plant anything nor harvest the unattended vines but they were to let the land rest (Leviticus 25:2-5)..

Peace Under Jesus’ Rule

We see this principle pattern reappearing throughout the bible from beginning to end and it is a theme in itself. By the time we get to the book of revelation, we learn that Yeshua (Jesus Christ) will rule on earth for one thousand years (Revelation 20:4-6) or one day with God. This Sabbath millennial reign of Jesus Christ the King happens after Satan has ruled over the earth for six thousand years or six days with God. Satan will end up killing billions of people through the Antichrist and his government, The Beast, during the Great Tribulation (Revelation 7:14). This is what happens when man rejects the sovereignty of God and tries to rule the world apart from Him. Luckily, before everyone in the world is destroyed, Jesus Christ returns in time to prevent the full arsenal of nuclear weapons from being released (Revelation 11:18). “… and they shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks and they shall learn the way of war no more (Isaiah 2:4). No more evil Devil. No more wild animals but endless peace throughout the Sabbath millennium the way God intended. Afterwards, multitudes will dwell with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in spiritual paradise for eternity.

A New (Another) Age

Then what? Well, after the seventh day comes the first day. The weekly cycle starts all over again. In Genesis 1:1, God re-creates the heavens and the earth in six days and rests on the Sabbath. The earth was here already but it was empty with no form. Now Jesus’ teachings make more sense when He said, If you leave everything for Me you will receive it back 100 times more in this age, and eternal life in the age to come (Mark 10:29-30). We will receive it back 100 times more during His millennial reign when we will be Holy Kings and Royal Priests not during the 6000 years of man’s rule on earth which all falls under 1 age. And we will receive eternal life in the spiritual in the next 7000-year age. Solomon was accurate when he said, “There is nothing new under the sun…what was will be again (Ecclesiastes 1:9-10).

Have Faith In God – The God Kind of Faith

So God’s Word, the bible, is true. He did (RE)create or refurbish the heavens and the earth in six days and rested on the Sabbath. The scientists are right, too. The earth and the universe ARE millions of years old. Now stop doubting God and believe to the point where you don’t need any proof. But do keep study His Word to draw near to Him. You need to find the truth for yourself.

I Want You Saved

I am the StreetPreacher, here to serve you; to build you up in Christ Jesus not to rob or condemn you. Therefore, I pray of the Father for you:

Holy Father in heaven, I come to You in the name of Jesus Christ to ask that the person reading or hearing this tract will receive these words from you and will accept Jesus in their life as their absolute king and savior. I also ask that You write their name in the book of life so that they will reign with Christ a thousand years with us. Dear God, I am a sinner and I am not worthy of Your righteousness. I now turn from my evil ways of disobedience. I believe in my heart Jesus died for my sins and You raised Him up on the third day. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the absolute king of my life. Thank You for hearing me Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ, I believe it is true.
